The World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM) has called for its annual awards, that in 2010 have as central theme “Excellence in the developing the link between Wholesale and Retail markets” with the aim to help for better recognition of the common contribution of both commercials formats to the food chain operation.

Theses awards (gold, silver and bronze prizes, plus two merit certificates) are open to any of the more of 200 wholesale and retail markets within the membership of WUWM.
 
Winners will be announced during the WUWM Conference closing dinner to be held Palma de Mallorca on Friday 17 September 2010, organized by the World Union of Wholesale Markets, Mercapalma and Mercasa.
